In collaboration with our partner company in India, PROMAN INFRASTRUCTURES SERVICES PVT LTD (Bangalore), SOTECMA has received an order for the supply of a dry mortar manufacturing plant in Mumbai.

The new company ALCCOTECH BUILDING MATERIALS PVT LTD, a member of the ALCON Group (Goa), manufacturer of cement, ready-mix concrete and precast concrete products, among many other business activities. Thanks to the support of PROMAN INFRASTRUCTURES, ALCCOTECH will have a new dry mortar plant for mixing different types of cement, slag, ash and aggregates of various particle sizes. The installation of the plant to be supplied will take place in Mumbai. The first phase of mortar production will be masonry and rendering mortars. Subsequently, tile adhesives and technical and repair mortars will also be manufactured. The final product will be supplied in bags. The range of products to be manufactured includes masonry mortars, tile adhesives and technical and repair mortars. With all this, the plant will have a production capacity of 30 t/h. With this new project, the first SOTECMA plant in Asia will be established, specifically in India, where strong growth in residential construction is expected in a country with more than one billion inhabitants. More than 7 million children have been born there this year alone, which is why we believe there is great potential and a significant market for the use of dry mortar. This will be the first plant in India, but it forms part of a strategic expansion plan throughout the country.
