Industrial Gas Cleaning and Treatment

SOTECMA provides highly efficient solutions for dosing different reagents used in industrial gas treatment processes.

Industrial thermal processes such as combustion, firing, curing, etc., generate acidic contaminated gases (sulphur, chlorine, fluorine, etc.). These gases cannot be released directly into the atmosphere, as industrial facilities must comply with current emission regulations.

To comply with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2015/2193 and Royal Decree 1042/2017, accurate dosing of the different reagents is essential throughout the gas treatment process.

The main reagents used include:

• Powdered Activated Carbon.
• Lignites.
• Carbonates.
• Calcium Hydroxide and Calcium Oxide.
