Vibrating bottoms

Vibrating Silo Bottoms

Vibrating silo bottoms ensure a uniform and continuous discharge of bulk solid materials, preventing product segregation and eliminating dead zones inside the silo.

One of their main advantages is the elimination of common discharge problems such as material bridging, rat-holing, irregular flow and material build-up on the silo walls.

Features of Vibrating Silo Bottoms

They consist of a fixed upper section attached to the silo and a vibrating lower section suspended by tie rods with elastic mountings at both ends. The joint between both sections is completely sealed by means of a flexible sleeve secured with clamps.

Optionally, they can be fitted with an internal counter-cone to improve material flow and facilitate discharge. Silos may also be equipped with additional fluidization, aeration and other auxiliary systems.
