Cement-Treated Aggregate Plant Specifications

Our cement-treated aggregate plants are designed to deliver high performance and reliability, incorporating the following technical features:

  • Production capacities of up to 500 t/h.
  • Automatic continuous gravimetric dosing of cement and water according to the aggregate flow rate.
  • Aggregate hoppers equipped with belt feeders and electronic variable-speed drives, sized to meet customer requirements.
  • Direct cement feeding into the mixer to eliminate material losses and spillage.
  • Fully enclosed cement dosing and conveying system.

Soil-Cement

Soil-cement is a homogeneous fresh mixture of aggregates, water and cement produced in an industrial batching plant through a controlled dosing and mixing process. This material provides increased ground stability, strength and durability while being adapted to the technical specifications of each project.

It is particularly suitable for road infrastructure projects subjected to heavy traffic loads, where a durable and high-strength base layer is required.

Cement-Treated Aggregate

Cement-treated aggregate consists of a homogeneous mixture of graded aggregates, cement, water and specific additives, proportioned with precision and mixed in a production plant. Thanks to the grading of the aggregates, the higher cement content and the use of chemical additives, it provides superior mechanical performance compared to soil-cement.

It is the ideal material for the construction of high-strength sub-bases and pavements for motorways, highways, roads and other infrastructure subjected to heavy traffic loads, ensuring excellent structural performance and long service life.

Equipment for Cement-Treated Aggregate Production

SOTECMA cement-treated aggregate plants are equipped with high-performance machinery designed to ensure a continuous, accurate and fully automated production process. Each installation is configured according to production requirements and material characteristics, providing maximum reliability and operational efficiency.

A standard cement-treated aggregate plant may include the following equipment:

  • Three or more storage hoppers for graded aggregates.
  • Independent belt feeders for the volumetric dosing of each aggregate fraction.
  • Collecting conveyor belt for receiving the dosed materials.
  • Elevating conveyor belt feeding the mixing system.
  • Continuous twin-shaft mixer with production capacities of up to 500 t/h.
  • Cement storage silos with different capacities.
  • Gravimetric cement dosing system using screw conveyors and weighing hoppers.
  • Water and admixture dosing system, where required by the application.
  • Complete electrical installation, including power and control panels.
  • Automation, control and dedicated software for complete plant management.

All equipment is designed to operate as an integrated system, ensuring highly accurate dosing, continuous operation and easy maintenance, helping to maximize productivity and the quality of the final product.
