Background and Customer Requirements

Founded in 1996, OBRAS GLADSTONE, S.L. is a company specialized in Spain in the field of pavement milling and sweeping, with more than 25 years of experience. It stands out particularly in projects where technical requirements and the specific characteristics of each job demand a high added value.

The company mainly operates in the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of road and airport pavements, as well as in municipal asphalt-related operations, among other areas of activity.

To achieve this, it relies on equipment fitted with state-of-the-art technology and a highly experienced team, enabling it to meet its objectives with reliability and assurance while continuously increasing its specialization and competitiveness.

Its operations extend throughout Spain, with its operational base located in the center of the Iberian Peninsula.

Its activities include in-situ soil stabilization with lime and cement, cold pavement recycling with emulsion, in-situ soil-cement production, rock trenching operations, pavement shot blasting for rubber removal, and the transportation of aggregates and hot asphalt, among others.

Solutions, Equipment and Installations

The installation consists of the following supplied equipment:

• 1 set of 3 hoppers of 60 m³ each.
• 3 belt feeders.
• 1 collecting belt conveyor, 1,000 mm wide and 15 kW.
• 1 elevating belt conveyor, 1,000 mm wide and 22 kW.
• 1 mixer with a capacity of up to 500 t/h and 75 kW.
• 1 dynamic weighing system.
• 2 dosing hoppers.
• 2 screw conveyors, 5 metres long and 5.5 kW.
• 1 screw conveyor, 10 metres long and 11 kW.
• 2 cement silos of 50 t with accessories.
• Pneumatic installation.
• Supporting structure.

The service provided by SOTECMA included project engineering, manufacturing, installation, control software development and commissioning of the plant.
