Background and Customer Requirements

Advanced Mineral Processing, S.L. (AMP) is a company specialized in process engineering, plant design and the development of systems for the treatment of minerals, sands, gravels, clays and other raw materials used in industries such as Metallic Mining, Industrial Minerals, Aggregates, Coal and Recycling.

In this case, the company required the supply of a 4 t/h mortar plant to produce palletized bagged products:

• Masonry mortars.
• Rendering mortars.
• Adhesives.
• Waterproofing products.
• Technical and repair mortars.

However, one of the requirements was that the plant had to be installed inside an existing building with limited height. For this reason, the structure we proposed was horizontal rather than a tower-type configuration.

Solutions, Equipment and Installations

The service provided by SOTECMA included the project's mechanical, electrical and automation engineering, manufacturing, and installation support. The final plant consists of the following elements:
